In a world where 80% of the population has developed unique mutations in their genetic codes, giving them "superpowers", or "quirks", as they call it, it doesn't take long for fantasy and imagination to emerge out of the earth. And further, it doesn't take long for roles of "Heroes" and "Villains" to rise up as well. But... Who coins one as a "hero" or a "villain"...? The person themselves...? Or the people around them...? Light... Dark... Dusk... Dawn... Two sides of the same coin... Twilight... --- Kageyama Kazuma is a 16 year old boy, aspiring to follow his late father's footsteps, and become a hero who saves people. But... Not all can go as planned, or wished, right? So was the case for Kazuma as well, as his quirk soon found itself being held accountable for Kazuma being coined the word "villain" by those around him, before he could even begin his journey to becoming a hero. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey? Friends? Love? Hardships? That's for you to find out. Okay, so here's how it all began. Basically, teenagers have been vanishing across the country and no one has the foggiest idea what's going on (myself included). But at the end of the day I've got bigger things to worry about, such as the eternal hell that is the last day of high school and my psychopathic chemistry teacher. I've got enough going on in my life to be worrying about something I can't do anything about. Famous last words Nick. Suddenly I find myself being dragged into a world I apparently belong to and there's a war going on. The light and the dark are scrabbling for control and everything is hanging by a thread. And I'm stuck in the middle of it. So with the help of a few new friends, some new enemies, beasts, monsters and superpowered teenagers, I'm somehow going to navigate this mad new world and hopefully get out on the other side with all my limbs still intact. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. I wasn't normal, there was just something there. In no way though, had I expected to be told that not, was I only half human, but 50% angel, and not an angel of heaven.
