Katelyn Shirly despised Shuntaro Chishiya. She knows they were inseparable when they first met. After all, he was the only kid to talk to her when she was new in the country. An American in Japan? At least Chishiya kept the bullies away. Now, at the age of 22, Katelyn arrives back home, only to despise her life even more when she has to face her father, who only thinks of her as a disgrace. But before she can even face him, she is unknowingly transported to the Borderlands. Her smile seemed to fade when she runs into the one man she didn't wish to lay eyes on again.
