"So why were those kids bullying you?" Shoto asked, a small frown on his face. Izuku sighed, standing up and dusting himself off. "Even if I changed my name, they'd still find something..." the greenette mumbled to himself. "Kacchan's just a big meanie who expects me to follow him around like a lost puppy for the rest of my life... but I'll prove him wrong! I may just be a late bloomer, that's all!" He explained. Shoto stared at him blankly before slightly giggling. "What's so funny?" Izuku asked. Shoto brushed off the question with another, "Is this 'Kacchan' the Blondie? He seems like he'd be a bad hero if everyone's scared of him..." The heterochromatic boy said. Izuku shrugged. "Well, what's your name? I'm Todoroki Shoto," the boy slightly smiled. "Midoriya Izuku! Nice to meet you Snowcone!" The boy smiled. "Snowcone?" Shoto repeated. "It's your nickname!"

"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home.
