Lampoon Town, Colorado: an average town with average citizens living their average lives. Things start taking a turn for the better when a newcomer arrives to their small town: an optimistic young ferret named Slash. He has an eye for excitement and an itch for adventure, and Lampoon Town and its citizens can satisfy both. He sets out to explore every nook and cranny of his new home with reckless abandon. Joining him are his neighbors and longtime residents of Lampoon Town, siblings Dux Gato, a tall, loyal, and friendly chocolate Labrador, and Kit Gato, a petite cat with a permanent scowl on her face. Slowly, with each passing day, with each new encounter, Slash will find his place in this small town, and what it means to finally be home. 
Centered around Slash, Dux, Kit, and so much more, this first volume contains 10 stories featuring high school hijinks, abandoned and haunted homes, hypnotizing romances, feuding friendships, and a malevolent force conspiring in the shadows.
