A firewall is a type of network security system that keeps an eye on and regulates incoming and outgoing network traffic in accordance with pre-established security rules. It serves as a barrier between a secure internal network and the Internet at large, guarding against hacker attacks and unwanted access.
Protection from the Total Security Firewall may be hardware-based, software-based, or a hybrid of the two. It can be set up to let or deny a certain kind of traffic, like incoming email or web traffic.

The following are some typical attributes of Total Security's firewall defence:
Using pre-established rules, packet filtering examines each incoming and outgoing packet before deciding whether to allow or deny it.

Stateful inspection: It keeps track of the connections on the network and only permits traffic that is a part of a valid, established connection.
