Time for an immortal being is something relative.
When you know your life doesn't have an expiration date and you've been roaming the earth for as long as a few centuries, you tend to learn how to blend in. To mimic others in order, well, ironically enough, to survive.
And somehow, the moment a similar creature enters your daily life, you do get the tendency to gravitate towards them.
Humans could be extremely dangerous, she knew that, and so could other monsters. So why go against every fiber of her instinct yelling "Danger"? Why not retreat?
