Growing up, Brodie was taught to look at life like a game that he had to master in order to win. The lessons he learned throughout his life only prepared him for each opponent, each match.

He lived a life of privilege. Everything he wanted he got and anything that did not suit his image, he had no problem letting go of. Certain pieces on the board are always disposable if it meant protecting his king and winning the game. That is until he met his match.

This is a series about the game of love. Like the game of chess, Brodie believes love has a strategy and an end goal. If you approach the game with carelessness, you will end up making the wrong moves and be left in the chaos of defeat disguised as an obsession.

Like chess, you must protect your heart, while capturing the heart of your opponent. Just remember, life can always throw you a curve ball or two. You can't always predict your opponents' next move.
