Kotaro Sakurakoji, a Tokyo high school student and trans boy, is struggling to find his place in the world. That is until he discovers the music of Argonavis, a rising star in the Japanese music scene. Inspired by their passion and creativity, Kotaro decides to start a band of his own with his classmates Rika, Sanemi, and Botan.

Together they form Ursa M, a band that seeks to bring its unique voice to the music world. With Kotaro's powerful vocals, Rika's melodic piano, Sanemi's complex drum patterns, and Botan's thunderous bass lines, Ursa M begin to name themselves on the local music scene.

As they navigate the challenges of being a young band, they must also confront the prejudices and misunderstandings surrounding Kotaro's gender identity. Through their music, they hope to break down barriers and show the world that everyone's voice deserves to be heard.

But as they rise to fame, they soon discover that the music industry is less glamorous. They face pressure to compromise their art for commercial success, and the bonds between the band members are tested as they navigate the complex world of fame and fortune.
