Life was supposed to be normal for Karla. Or at least as normal as you can get when your closest friends are not human. Instead, with the arrival of a pair of strangers, she finds herself yanked deeper into a world she'd only scratched the surface of... And even then, there's so much more to learn.

I quickly stood up and bowed. "What is your name" he bellowed kinda muffled. I panicked and quickly remembered that the guards had not checked me before putting me in here. I pulled out my speech device and began typing...I looked up for a split second just to see a fist plummeting towards me and everything became fuzzy. I could hear screams but could not make out what was being said.
