So to keep themselves together, they write notes. Those notes are passed back and forth also saving paper.

Until one day the notes are poured onto the floor and written into a Burn Book.

Andy is the school's bad boy, street boxer, and also the boy who first finds Cain's notes. But Andy doesnt want to be nice and give the notes back, not unless he gets something out of it.

How far will he make her go? Will she ever get the Burn Book AND her notes? Will he use it against her?

"Do they not say that a good friendship builds on a ground of lies?" I joke, lightening the mood immediately as his green eyes glint in humor and a smirk falls on his familiar lips. "Do you kiss a lot of your friends, love?" The underlying tones threaten to provoke a blush on my cheeks, but I get myself together. Smirking at him, "Well, of course, is that not the norm?" *********** Dakota Moore is the perfect example of a beautiful disaster. Her wisdom is ready to knock anyone down, her self worth is an exact replica of the way her father raised her, and her pain so intense it screams over every building. She refuses to show anyone what's going on behind closed doors, especially when her lovely father gets the traumatic news that he has an incurable disease. Elijah Black is the spur of the moment kind of guy, he's the one no one ever settles with because of his angry outbursts and rude ways. Even though he throws everyone off, except for when they want sexual advances, he still can't help but feel enthralled by the freckled girl who's hiding so many secrets behind a fake smile. As they clash and try to reject the obvious rush, will they accept their attraction, or is everything just too much? After all, how can two ruined teenagers manage a youthful love without destroying themselves in the process? "You have lost your mind, what the hell do you think you're doing?" She yells at me. "Don't start with me." "I'm not starting shit, Elijah! This was supposed to be a night out and then you come along, you ruin everything!" The anger on her voice isn't lost on me, I've never heard her this mad before and she is dangerously attractive with the wild look in her eyes and slightly open mouth. "You shouldn't even be here! What the fuck do you mean a night out, have you gone insane?" I raise my voice unintentionally and she looks even more crazed than she did before. "That's rich, coming from the jerk who almost killed a guy minutes ago!" ********* Elijah Black is her first love. He is her only love. Even three years after high school when both of them have gone separate ways, never talked again, she still thinks about him and scolds herself for it. They agreed to end things, they agreed to cut all ties, she isn't allowed to feel this way anymore. But she does. Dakota Moore is the name he refuses to mention, she is the girl he struggles to think about. Even three years after high school when both of them have gone their separate ways, never talked again, he still fears whenever someone brings her up in conversation and he hates it. She needed to get away from all the horrific things, they agreed to cut all ties, he can't fawn over her like this anymore. But he does. Two broken souls could mend each other, but the aspect of staying together was too much. Why couldn't things just be easy for them? Why couldn't they have their romance in peace? Loving someone is hard enough, but when the past catches up to you and the future traumatizes you, can you really focus on the mending of a broken relationship?
