"𝓒𝓪𝓷 𝔀𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝔁 𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓿𝓮𝓼 𝓫𝓮𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝔀𝓮 𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓯 𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓬𝓽?" Multipotentialite, yet overly insecure, bashful, and socially naïve; Reagan Dike is a music and graffiti-art loving 18 year old living fairly in Kumase - a relatively small and peaceful community controlled subtly by a behind-the-curtain, autocratic hand. However, life sails in a different direction when changes emerge and Reagan bears witness to something horrific that throws the lives of him and his mother upon rocky grounds. A few years later. The city of Lagos. Reagan is a different person - a young man destroyed by psychological trauma and heartbreak, and lost in a world where he least believed he'd dwell. What happens when he runs into an enemy from his not-so-forgotten past, and she's the last person in the entire world he'd ever want to have something to do with? He decides to play with fire when he accepts the invitation for a talk in The Harvest, and since they'd ruined his life this much, he decides it was about time he paid back in kind. An eye for and eye - a dangerous dance in the court of love, hate, and deceit, risking a change of heart that will lead to his life being in imminent danger. What happens when his trust is broken by all the people he's placed his bet on? With her being the only person left in his life - his last hope to escape death; is he willing to let his guard down and risk it another rendition of the toxic nostalgia that has been glued to his mind for the past 4 years?

As if he was aware of being followed, Henry increased his pace further. He got to the elevator while I quickly rushed and slid in before the elevator closes, leaving just the both of us inside the box that felt small because of how intense the atmosphere was. "Why are you a pest?" "I'm your bodyguard. Of course I'm like a human pest." I just couldn't hold it in me. His arrogance was just too much. "Did you just talk back at me?" Henry turned to me, his nose flaring up in anger. "You're fired." ______ Hope is a very beautiful girl, well atleast that's what she tells herself. But being beautiful isn't all there is knowing money ruled the world. Spotting a job with a hundred thousand naira seems like a 'too good to be true' phase to Hope. And it proved her point when her eyes sets in on the pronoun. He/him. Much bad news surfaces when she realizes such pronoun suits the job perfectly. Being a body guard. Hope being the hustler she sets herself to be isn't going to let a gender stop her as she finds means on making the opportunity work in her favour. They say, nothing a man won't do for money. Especially when being strapped. Right now, Hope is the definition of STRAPPED.
