"𝓒𝓪𝓷 𝔀𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝔁 𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓿𝓮𝓼 𝓫𝓮𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝔀𝓮 𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓯 𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓬𝓽?"

Multipotentialite, yet overly insecure, bashful, and socially naïve; Reagan Dike is a music and graffiti-art loving 18 year old living fairly in Kumase - a relatively small and peaceful community controlled subtly by a behind-the-curtain, autocratic hand. However, life sails in a different direction when changes emerge and Reagan bears witness to something horrific that throws the lives of him and his mother upon rocky grounds.

A few years later. The city of Lagos. Reagan is a different person - a young man destroyed by psychological trauma and heartbreak, and lost in a world where he least believed he'd dwell. What happens when he runs into an enemy from his not-so-forgotten past, and she's the last person in the entire world he'd ever want to have something to do with?

He decides to play with fire when he accepts the invitation for a talk in The Harvest, and since they'd ruined his life this much, he decides it was about time he paid back in kind.

An eye for and eye - a dangerous dance in the court of love, hate, and deceit, risking a change of heart that will lead to his life being in imminent danger. What happens when his trust is broken by all the people he's placed his bet on? With her being the only person left in his life - his last hope to escape death; is he willing to let his guard down and risk it another rendition of the toxic nostalgia that has been glued to his mind for the past 4 years?

"Mr. Deen" tells the story of a man around whom turmoil constantly brews, yet it never seems to touch him. He moves through life, leaving heartbreak and conflict in his wake, but those wounds never find their way back to him. His actions are often selfish and ruthless-he breaks his ex's heart with chilling ease-but the consequences fall not on him, but on those closest to him. His new girlfriend unexpectedly absorbs the pain that should be his, suffering in ways she never deserved. Despite his flaws, Mr. Deen is deeply loved. People are drawn to him, captivated by his charm and presence, so much so that they would rather protect him than see him hurt. Even when he causes pain, those around him, perhaps out of love or need, find themselves shielding him from the repercussions. His devotion to his new lover is real, showing a softer, almost tender side that clashes with the trail of emotional wreckage he leaves behind. As events unfold, it becomes clear that fate, or perhaps the sheer force of human affection, keeps Mr. Deen untouchable. People care for him so deeply that, rather than letting him suffer, they turn the hurt inward, or project it onto others. It's this strange dynamic-where love becomes both his shield and his weapon-that shapes the world around him. In "Mr. Deen," readers are left to wonder: How far will love go to protect a man who doesn't seem to deserve it? And at what cost to those who love him? #1 - Abuja (30-12-2023) #1 - Wattnaija (19-06-2024) #1 - Wattpadnigeria (30-06-2024) - (29-07-2024)
