Synopsis: Aeris had never known love. As an orphan, she had spent her life yearning for warmth, for a place to call home. When she finally found someone who made her feel wanted, she clung to the illusion, believing that maybe-just maybe-she was no longer alone. But that illusion shattered the day she saw her lover in the arms of another woman. "You're pathetic," he sneered when she confronted him. And with one cruel shove, he sent her crashing against the wall. Pain struck her like a bolt of lightning, and then-darkness. She thought it was the end. Instead, she woke up in the body of a breathtaking maiden with long, silk-like black hair. Her limbs were bound, her vision blurred, and before she could even comprehend what was happening, she heard the chants of a ritual. She was being sacrificed-as a bride to a dragon. The people around her whispered prayers, their eyes filled with fear. They were offering her to him-the mighty, fearsome dragon lord who ruled these lands with fire and fury. She wasn't just anyone now. She was the chosen offering-the bride meant for the Dragon King. A being of pure darkness, a ruler feared across the world. They said he was a monster, a black-scaled dragon with a presence so overwhelming that the very air trembled in his wake. He controlled the elements and wielded power beyond imagination. He was ruthless, merciless, and unseen in his human form. No one had ever escaped his grasp. And now, she belonged to him. As the sky darkened and the great dragon descended from the heavens, his massive wings casting shadows over the trembling villagers, she finally saw him. Glowing red eyes, burning like molten fire, locked onto hers-not with rage, not with hunger, but with something unexpected. Curiosity. Possession. Fate had given her another chance. But was it a blessing or a curse? ---

The elder sister Lisabeth Crescent Moon Dirigeantes was mainly known for her control of the moon which was the first thing she had power over after the old moon goddess died and handed the power down to her when she was born. The humans don't know that any god/goddess can hand their powers down to whomever they think is worthy. So, Lisabeth is also the goddess of death, nightmares, and life. Her sister Cinder Starlight Sky Dirigeantes was known as the goddess of stars the previous star goddess waited 10 years after her death before giving her power to Cinder when she was born because for centuries the goddess of moon and stars were sisters, and both made the goddesses of the night. Cinder was only a baby then. Some say that Lisabeth was trying to save her baby sister from the dangers in the immortal realm and that they came to hide down on earth. But one thing was for certain the sisters were underaged and won't use their powers in the mortal realm until they turn 19. The sister got split up during the fall to earth and earth is not a safe place for 2 powerless girls.

"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, @EChO11111111111 (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) and @Ripplestream11 ; also credit to our friend who is not comfortable sharing her name (As of right now, Echo's account isn't working, AGAIN, so check both for updates) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!
