Nobody expects the Sasquatch Intervention! A Vedic text tells of ancient gods who cast a shadow upon the Earth, shielding humanity from an angry sun. Or, as history books will soon report: when Sol last went micro-nova, Mercury, Venus, and the Anye migration fleet were positioned in eclipse, the latter on purpose. Earth was scorched - but not destroyed. The event is cyclical, coming around again, and fortunately, Vidura's furry pilgrims are still living in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the fleet is in mothballs. The planets will not be lining up to help. Two million light years away on the planet of the Unseen, a potentially hostile race of bird-folk have demonstrated the ability to get here from there. The natives will have to dig in, hands on Anye technology, with President of the United States Carmen Benequista leading Earth's ruling elite into an age of service to humanity. It's a dicey proposition, at best. Meanwhile, Carmen - sixty, widowed - is in late-life crisis. She has a suitor; human, Filipino/American, 15 years younger, recently associated with the Anye Space Mafia. Good for her, maybe. Entering stage left, the elevated maroli. Labor appliances of the nightmare variety. Egg-shaped grav-lift chassis. Bio-engineered tentacles strong enough to pull your arms off. Self-aware not by design - possessed perhaps by spirits of the dead. And who knows what the maroli are up to? Something wholesome, we hope. Will Earth be saved, only to perish in a war between cosmic rivals? Has the President found true love? Is it rude to attend a party with fighting drones in tow? Action, intrigue, space soap opera - A genre-bending tale of life, love, and uncertain outcomes. ᶲᶲᶲᶲᶲᶲᶲᶲ Click on my website URL, listed on the Wattpad author's profile, for more information.

We've all heard the tales of good and bad, the tales of innocent deceit and her hero, the tales that despite their nature, show us the beauty in contrast. But it's the tales of pure evil that get swept under the rug. The tales of deception, where cruelty is rewarded. The tales that have you questioning who the real villain of the story is. There's a simple philosophy to most thing in life; two wrongs 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 make a right. So what ensues when you put two of the worst kinds of people together? In every family, there is a rhythm - laughter at the dinner table, warmth in small gestures, the comfort of being surrounded by love. For the youngest child, this rhythm is both a blessing and a quiet burden. To the world, they are the bright spark: the one who smiles first, who laughs easily, who carries light into every corner of their home and school. Their friends call them cheerful, dependable, a presence that makes every moment feel lighter. Their family treasures their warmth, believing that they are always at peace. But behind the smile lies a truth no one sees. Each day is a careful performance, a balance between the joy they give others and the heaviness that lingers within. In the quiet hours of the night, when the world is still, their heart whispers questions they can never voice. Questions about worth, about exhaustion, about the battle they face in silence. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘚𝘦𝘦, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘐 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘥 is a tender, haunting exploration of what it means to protect the ones you love by hiding your pain. It is the story of a child who carries two lives - one that shines brightly for others, and another that silently fights to endure. Through ordinary days at school, gentle family dinners, and lonely nights under the ceiling's watch, the youngest child learns what it means to exist in two worlds at once: the one everyone sees, and the one only they can feel. This is not a story of villains or cruelty. It is a story of love, of warmth, of family - and the unspoken truth that even within the most loving homes, battles can remain unseen. It is about the quiet courage of a child who chooses to smile, even as their heart longs for rest. A poxignant journey of hidden emotions, fragile strength, and the longing for someone to notice what lies beneath the surface - this story reminds us that sometimes, the brightest light hides the deepest shadow. /~~/~~/~~/~~/~~/~~/~~/~~/ T
