"Don't go that way," Nathan said. "I need you to stay by my side."

I looked at him. I felt the tears well up in my eyes. He turned and looked directly into my eyes.

"What's wrong?" He asked sweetly.

"I'm so sorry Nath," I said. "But I have to do this."

"Wha-," he said.

I began to cry as I raised the gun. I aimed it at his face.

"My sins will never be forgiven if I don't do this," I said, crying. "I'm sorry. I truly am."

My finger was tight on the trigger, shaking vigorously as I stammered to pull it.

"Goodbye," I sobbed. "Forever."

I pulled the trigger, crying as I heard the blast. I felt my eyes began to burn as more tears fell. I killed.....the most precious thing to me.
