After moving from a small town in Wyoming to L.A, 15-year-old Lucy and her 13-year-old brother Ezekiel go to a new school and meet new people. Unhappy with the move, Lucy is reluctant. But as she meets a friend who opens her eyes and her heart, she becomes attached. After the death of her mother, her father gives up on love, and L.A. Now, her and her friend must fight to stay at the school, doing anything they can to keep her and her brother at the school, no matter the cost.
