Lova sprinted through the forest, hopping over small shrubs and exposed roots, desperately looking for an escape from the small group of the dead that's been following her for the last two hours. She could easily kill them with the handgun strapped to her thigh but the noise would only draw more. Her muscles burned to stop but she kept pushing, not willing to die the way she had watched others. A tree that looked easy enough to climb came into view and she b-lined for it, not noticing the 5 '10 bowman in her path. She barreled into him, knocking them both over into a heap of tangled limbs.

Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
