A collection of short stories that, for one reason or another, never needed to be expanded upon any further. From deadly road trips in slumbering worlds to empty bars at the edge of the solar system, there's a little bit of something for everyone here.

These assorted short stories consist of between three and seven chapters each, as well as a prologue and epilogue. The blurb for each story will be given in a separate chapter clearly marking it as such, so as to avoid cluttering up this space with several different synopses at once.

At between six and twenty-thousand words long, these stories are perfect for binge reading on a sleepless night to calm the mind, pairing well with a hot cup of tea and the sounds of distant storms. Far Away in a Galaxy different from ours, there exist a planet Called Armth Bulat. The planet is peaceful and constantly building civilization faster than anyone can imagine. The people of the planet are called "Serenities". Each person or "Serenity" lives in one of the 12 major capitals with their own set of rules. Different Capitals have gone to War with eachother but ultimately lived at peace. The story focuses on a group of kids who turns into adults who wanted to see what other worlds are out there. The History they once learned was something they couldn't let pass when everyone is so caught up in lies. A girl named Vanessa was just happy to be with her friends and family so she didn't care what happens outside. Vanessa was someone who anyone can rely on when things gotten bad. They went to school together like a little group they were. But, outside their normal lives, chaos was happening in secret. A strange substance filled their oxygen with gas they effected 97% of the population and killed the remaining who didnt get effected. No one knew where this came from but it was dangerous to leave it unsolved. A man rose up to fix this situation with his own method and was hoping to succeed but, he had trouble reaching his goals. The World went into chaos knowing they can't be saved. Civilizations went down, resources began to rot, children and adults died out on short time. How did it come to this? Follow the story of Vanessa to find out what happened and how it became to be.

TK Special #7 - Return to the M'Verse: An Ooorah Anthology by Ooorah

Each of the stories featured herein is set within a Universe of the writer's creation, while all being a part of a larger, shared Multiverse. At the Ooorah Mothership, we call this the M'Verse. Writers have free rein to tell the story they want to tell, providing it's sci-fi in nature and no more than 5000 words in length... then it's all good! There are, however, five "rules" to which all created Universes within the shared Multiverse must adhere. Think of them as non-mandatory prompts that weave an invisible, unbreakable web throughout this anthology. But that shouldn't prove too difficult for the writers partaking... It's time to RETURN TO THE M'VERSE.

This is a compilation of short stories, each centering on a different principle for improving one's life. Often times I hear a good quote or lesson and wish I could read a story that illustrated them. With the new age of instant gratification, I have chosen to write stories that are very short and get to the point quickly. By providing 3-4 minute reads with each story, the reader is rewarded quickly without having to invest hours or days into a story in order to finally start digging at its central theme. Post-apocalyptic worlds, multiverses, and modern-day society are explored in these stories among many other established universes. Some of the tales are revealed to be dreams, while others are based off of real events. Achieving Serenity delivers heart-warming, shocking, sad and hilarious content.
