REED: This is the weirdest combination of people that I've ever been with.

LYDIA: This is horrible. Absolutely horrible.

JIMMY: Stop complaining. You're not the only one who's NOT enjoying this.

THOMAS: Guys, shut up. We need to get a move on. We need to get Shiloh back.

JACOB: It's Jimmy's fault that we're in this mess.

ANIKA: It's not anyone's fault, One Direction. We all lost the dog. We just need to get him back. Easy peazy.

Reed: Yep, except for the fact that the dog's thousands of miles away from us. But y'know, let's stay optimistic.

EVERYONE: (sighs)

"My name's Elijah, by the way. It's nice to meet you, window-girl." She liked that name: Elijah. "I doubt you're even listening, but, look, I'm not here to cause problems, you know? I'm just here to chat. It can get lonely when we segregate ourselves into our own little world. I mean, maybe you like it in there," he continued, as she stared at the door separating them, "but, in case you don't, I'd like to offer my company." Instead of panicking, Liza could only focus on four words he'd said. 'Our own little world.' How had he known? She was in her own little world, consisting of her, her dog, the condo, and now, maybe . . .? Her voice was barely a croak when she spoke to him for the first time. "I'm listening." ***  A horribly tragedy left Liza Garner tucked inside her condo, the only safe place she knew, terrified of the outside world and the people within it. Especially men. A change in living brought Elijah Harris into a nice new neighborhood, and he'd never been afraid of knocking on others' doors and introducing himself. Especially if a pretty woman was on the other side. This is a story about mental health, the amazing impact certain individuals can have on one's personal journey, and how making progress-no matter how seemingly insignificant-is always impressive. *** PLEASE NOTE: Rated mature for language, topics, and detailed descriptions of gore. "Shiloh." I held her chin in my hand so she would have to look at me. Shiloh flinched and it reminded me of the first time I had talked to her. Slowly rain began to fall but I could hardly feel their cold bites. She was looking up at me and I was frozen by her dark blue eyes. Her intense stare was holding me in my place. Suddenly a tear rolled down her cheek but she didn't stop looking at me. Something was different about this. I had never seen her look like this. Pleading and desperate but sad at the same time. There was also something else that went along with her gaze. I couldn't place what it was but it wasn't a negative emotion. It was like a small lighthouse in her deep stormy ocean eyes. "Don't go on the date." .... Noah Carter started his Junior year with everything. Little did he realize that everything was going to be flipped upside down and tossed out the window when an odd girl walked into his life. Her name was Shiloh Eastwood. Shiloh Eastwood started her Junior year with nothing except her little sister, Payton. Little did she realize that the king of the social crowds was to be her best friend in her world. His name was Noah Carter. The unlikely friends received judgement in all different way shapes and forms but they stand by each other through everything and everyone. And as soon as that happens people realize that their friendship is something a little different. (Used to be Something Different)
