Riven is a confused, half-human teenager who was uprooted from his life when Asiza landed in it, with no knowledge of what is going on or why he's part of it.
In Asiza's eyes, their mission is to save the Song of the Forest by reaching the Thicket Sanctum with a crystal before Shifteve. But as Riven and Asiza are thrown on side quests and detours, and as more and more shattered remnants of their pasts are brought to life, layers of conspiracies and lies are unfolded.
