My Hidden Gem

Amelia Branson as been abandoned by her parents. She wasn't set on the steps of an orphanage as a baby, but was abandoned in the middle of the night without warning at the age of seventeen. After a day alone, she decides to call the police who take her to stay at a family friend's, the Carlton's. The Carlton's consist of Mr. Carlton, Mrs. Carlton, and Hunter Carlton. Hunter has a small mental disability that impairs his speech. His parents call it his "problem", but Amelia sees through it. Instead she finds the one friend she always needed.
