"Wtf are you talking about? Cryptic Pregnancy? It's definitely an appendix, where did you go to school again?" I screamed at the doctor who was calmly trying to explain why I was having the worst cramp of my life,
"Miss Adeola, you're one out of the few women who gets to experience cryptic pregnancy. Basically it is a situation where the pregnant woman doesn't know she's pregnant because she attributed her symptoms to other things. They usually find out too late at the 6th month and later or till they are in labour" the doctor kept yapping.
Meet Adeola, who has always looked forward to when she would be traveling outside the country to get her masters degree and she didn't want to have a real connection with guys back home for the fear of having to drop them when she leaves. Only to fall in love with a boy who wasn't her ideal type within a year before she leaves for her masters. She got him to see why the distance will only prolong the inevitable breakup and he understood, so it was a mutual breakup. But when 6 months after getting to her dream country and making plans for her dream life she lands in the hospital and an unexpected news is dropped into her laps and now she has to juggle her life with this addition.
