Using tactics and strategies, along with superior firepower and technology, they're able to control most of the world in just over a decade. Russia and China become the last free nations in world as the surviving militaries and civilians make their last stand in what could only be described as an inevitable defeat. However, just as all hope seemed lost, a prayer for a miracle is answered. In what could only be described as an act of God, UCA discovered a portal being opened in China and tried to invade the other side, only for their armies to be brutally pushed back. It was here the Confederacy is forced to fight against an enemy they thought they exterminated during the Civil War. That was until a mysterious medieval-looking structure appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Washington D.C. Suddenly, the nation's capital is under attack by a medieval-style army and creatures only seen in fantasy stories. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. I do not own Gate, but the story and characters in this story are mine.
