A little while has passed for Korra and Asami in the spirit world, well, six years to be exact. When Korra and Asami return to the real world, they arrive into chaos, Wu's decision to rid of the monarchy has created uprisings in some cities due to disagreements on the voting system.
Korra and Asami have been assumed dead, by Mako, by Bolin and by all their loved ones.
When Mako finds out that they're alive he is left heartbroken by his first loves who he has found out are together now. But an old flame has been reignited in Korra. Has she fallen in love again?
Things aren't this easy for Team Avatar. When word gets to them that Katara is dying and has been poisoned they will stop at nothing to find out who did this.
There's a new kind of evil out there.
One that will stop at nothing to destroy Korra.
And everything she loves.
