This Volume takes place after the Virtue Vs Vice arc and Starts off with the events that lead up to The Mortals Vs Machines arc. Opal has gotten herself into some hot water with her desire and pursuit of knowledge and hiding certain secrets from those she won't be able to actually hide from.

What will happen with the selfish, temper ridden, short sighted Golden god of the gate? What will become of the curious scientist that Gaiya aims to protect?  What trouble will the Sprites find themselves in next? Will Essie be able to rise to the occasion after the monster of creations disappearance?
