Sometimes, holding on hurts more than letting go. It's like gripping a rose vine, seeing the rose, but knowing how much more it would hurt. Except the rose was dying. I loved you. And now I miss the old us. 

Short story. Hopefully, someone can relate and this would help them figure things out. I will try to write more if I get readers!
