Ever since the sports festival, the so-called 'Bakusquard' started treating Denki poorly. It seemed like they only ever wanted to hang out with him as a last resort, and when they did talk to him it's just to ask if he could charge their phones or to make fun of him when he was fried. Denki started to feel lonely and eventually fell into a deep depression and began to have severe anxiety. During one horrific panic attack, Izuku found him and brought Denki to his dorm. There, he comforted Denki and let him spill out his thoughts and feelings.
