Like her mother, Princess Visenya Velaryon had grown closer with her uncle Aemond. The two children would often sneak away from their duties to play with the wooden swords Aemond had stolen for the Princess, or lay outside of the dragon pit watching as the creators of their house flew around, or sometimes they would sit in the gardens with the rest of the new generation of Velaryon and Targyern, sitting next to each other and often the of two children would lay their head on the others shoulder and drift to sleep grasping onto each other's hand. They engage in a mutual love triangle with an ethereal woman that offers them both affection, gratification, and counsel. Despite political and personal differences, Aemond and Daemon find themselves forever connected by their love and, at times, obsession of her. This story exists in an "alternate timeline" where Viserys has not named Rhaenyra (or anyone, for that matter) as his heir. This is a slow-ish burn (trust the process!) that is a bit ~spicy~ but plot focused (to say--spice isn't the whole point of the story).
