"She is delightfully chaotic; a beautiful mess. Loving her is a splendid adventure."-Steve Maraboli
"He was a warrior
with a fighter's mind
 and she was a battle

2073. It's been 2 years since the invasion. The tragedies have become statistics. Destruction has amassed amidst the once great nation and hope lies in the youth as problems intensify. Humans are no longer the only threat to themselves.

Maria's life depicts her as one of the unluckiest human beings still living. In that way she is also one of the luckiest people alive. Her personality is a slippery slope that allows her to escape the clutches of reality countless times with a touch manic behavior traits. Bombs and bullets fly over her head as often as whatever her instructor said three minutes before. In a time of extirpation, will the incubation of one idea have the possibility to repair rampant destruction?

William Vega, is point-blank, a stick in the mud. At least in Maria's eyes. 'Domineering fuddy-duddy' is also an accurate description of him. He refuses to recognize her a fit for the service, degrades her values, and refers to her as a lunatic. He's not the first though, as much as Maria attracts people she also repels them with her louder than life unconventional personality. After a series of misfired guns and deadly yoga sessions, the two soon find themselves on an high-chase eerie adventure to ruins of the earth where the truest gems of society can be recovered.

"My Lord!" She gasped when she saw a deep wound on my hand and ran to me with quick steps. The rain was nonstop and it was thundering terrifically but the girl standing before me doesn't seem like she cares about herself much. She is literally drenched cold to the bone yet she is trying to tie a handkerchief around my palm. "M... My... What?" I frowned at her. "You are hurt, My Lord." My Lord! What the hell is she calling me? "I am not your Lord, girl. I'm -" I was about to tell her my name when she cut me in the middle and shivered in cold with a smiling face. "You are My Lord because you are a God." I looked around the dark empty wet alleys to find no signal of mental hospital staff or the mental hospital ambulance. She must have ran away from her psychiatrist. I am a God? From when? From which angle? I thought I'm a Devil? ~*~*~*~ Callisto Raul Mancini, the second most powerful Mafia in Europe and America, a man with cold heart and unlucky hands who can kill anyone without a remorse, crosses paths with a God devotee girl who can make the great Mafia kill himself without shedding a drop of sweat. "It's human nature. It's instinct to survive, no matter the cost." The world has fallen into desolation. The apocalypse has already started and finished, leaving some of the surviving ones with strange powers and mysterious scars. The world has ended, according to some, and is now in a state of rebirth. Others say it hasn't ended yet and that it's only going to get worse. The remaining people have grouped together in packs and gangs, raiding the desolate cities and avoiding the ones called the Destroyers, who capture and torture the remaining survivors. No one is safe. One fifteen year old boy knows this better than anyone. He and his older sister lived together, sticking to the dark alleys of their abandoned city, and survived for years after the apocalypse, until the Destroyers came and took her away, reigning terror on the few who remained in the city. The boy, desperate to find someone to help him save his sister, leaves the city and finds one of the youngest cooperative packs in North America, called the Raiders, comprised of unwanted individuals with the strange powers left from the destruction of years past. Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny. "Maybe there's more to life than just surviving." ... Rated C for Caution. Though it's rated mature, there is no bad language or vivid descriptions of sexual contact. It does have very strong themes. Please read the two important notices in the intro. Read at your own risk. Thanks. Maxine is an 18-year-old girl who is bored and lonely, living in California in the year 2351. She's always been fascinated with how humans used to live in houses, drive cars, and the fact that there used to be forests and parks everywhere. Now, after a war that nearly erased humanity, people are forced to live a strict, dull, communist lifestyle. Everyone seems okay with this way of life. Everyone except Maxine. Maxine had always been special; she was often able to predict events. How? She didn't exactly know...yet. When she starts having dreams about a tropical island where people live as they did in the 21st century, she meets the man of her dreams: literally. Her new boiling emotions bring her to wonder...what if it's a real place? When she starts her search for the island and bumps into Elis-the man in her dreams-she suddenly knows it wasn't all just a making of her imagination. Finding that island could mean finding the answers to her burning questions, and maybe even answers to questions she didn't know she had. However, not everything is what she thought it would be when she finally finds the island, and her dreams become a harsh reality. Elis turns out to be someone else, and when another man swoops in every time Maxine is in danger, she becomes confused about what love really is. The Advisors, the ten women governing the world, want to assimilate the people of the island, not knowing that those people have an extreme advantage over them. Maxine also learns that her family has been lying to her about who she really is. Ultimately, when the Advisors come to destroy the island, she must face the fact that she is the key to the island's salvation, and embracing her rapidly developing abilities is the only way to do so.

"You're atheist," I remind him. "You don't believe in god." "I believe in you," He murmurs, letting the cigarette hang from his lips. "I believe in whatever you believe." He says, letting the confession roll off his tongue as if it were that simple. As if god, the devil, heaven, hell-as if none of it really had meaning to him. Lotticia Andrews had spent her entire life behind the walls of her library. Her father raised her to be selfish, and to fear the outside, and even after his death- she never left. She and her border collie had remained- until their food ran out. Lotticia wasn't a fighter, she only ever knew how to use knives- a knife her father had taught her how to use. A knife, a dog, a journal, and anxiety are all her father left her with. And books- hundreds of books. Then a Warrior general stomps his way into her life- trampling her solitary and lonely life. He's loud and obnoxious, imposing- but there seemed more beneath his hard exterior. His personality was a weapon he wore like his armor. General Christoph was a harsh leader compared to his predecessor Zelle. The warrior who trained him and chose him to continue in his footsteps after his death. He was bitter and cynical- and didn't intend to take another woman after his mate had died all those years ago. But things don't always go according to plan- he never meant to stumble upon a small female, nor her furry big-eyed dog. Christoph needed this human, for her knowledge and the language she could help them to understand her hand language. A small group, a one-day trip- that was all it was supposed to be. But then no one expected poachers, Another human female, or the natural cycle and what it could do to the human body. Christoph had completely underestimated the trip. Now war has broken out and tensions rise- both buried feelings and skeletons come falling out of the closet. Can this spunky smart girl survive the Palace's wrath? Can Christoph face the reality that things aren't always what they seem nor black and white? Will Lassie play her part- and find her way home? Who knows- maybe humanity was doomed on Earth- but that won't be Lottie or her dog- because she's willing to do whatever it takes to get moved up to the front of the list. Even if it means dealing with the palace, poachers, and skrill alike.
