When Gumball, Darwin, and Carrie get together for a horror movie marathon, they stumble upon a highly obscure flick known only as "Hedgehunter." Despite seeming like any old piece of arthouse junk, Carrie finds herself uncharacteristically shaken by it, and soon enough, the group discovers that the movie is no mere work of fiction. Desperate and afraid, the group finds themselves hunted by a vengeful, unstoppable killer bent on taking their souls.

This sends the two of them on the run from not only Rob, but a new enemy like none the town has ever seen before (even by Elmore's standards). With the entirety of Elmore, and possibly the world, at stake, the two lovebirds are indirectly sent on a journey both physically and emotionally. Gumball is now introduced to the darker side of the fairy's emotions and her feelings about herself and her powers. The Vacation: An Amazing World Of Gumball Story

The days are long and grueling, but now he understands what his mother truly meant by the joys of raising a family, and he wishes to spend more time with them, so he schedules a few days off. Unbeknownst to him, Penny has arranged for the entire Watterson family to join them on a vacation, one that will take them to the rural outskirts of Elmore National Park, California!
