I'm not the greatest at writing short stories, so this is gonna be a collection of my attempts. Each chapter will be one story unless otherwise mentioned in the title or otherwise. Also, they aren't connected (unless otherwise mentioned) so you can read them in any order, if you'd like! :)
There will also be some poems, and I'm not the best at poems either, so please bear with me :)

‣ Silence Speaks Volumes (120 words) - brief mention of self harm, brief hint at death/suicide
‣ April Fools (3176 words) - I can't really think of any content warnings for this one. Basically, a guy keeps pranking his wife for April Fool's Day, even though he knows she really doesn't like it. Do with that as you will
‣ Look (101 words) - slight implication of suicide
‣ Saturday (1665 words) - brief mention of passing of family member, but besides that I don't think there's really anything that needs warning about

It was just a joke. I wanted to give her one last 'fuck you' before she got married to the guy I always wanted. How in the fuck did that lead to her dying? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Y'all know the drill.... This story is everything that involves a person getting triggered. "that's rich coming from a pretty boy" I narrow my eyes. "I'm not a pretty boy." He smirks standing from the desk and reaching forward twirling a piece of my hair between his fingers. "not in the traditional sense no...but you still bleed daddy's money" I reach up gripping his wrist, maybe harder then necessary; suddenly angry. "you don't know me Jasper, don't pretend you do" He sucks in a breath before leaning forward and putting his mouth next to my ear "I know you're so desperate for me, you can't fucking think straight" My breath catches and my eyes flick up meeting his not believing I heard what I did, but there's no denying it when he pushes me against his door and his lips meet my own hungry, angry, frustrated. ••• Jasper Collins is not expecting to ever step foot inside Balton's Boys School. A private behavioural school for those who can afford it, but after one too many expulsions and a scholarship opportunity Jasper finds himself stuck in a place filled with pretty boys who've done nothing worse then forget to shine their silver spoon. Beckett Chambers took on a mentorship position at Balton's to stay away from home. He could care less about status and social image he just wants to find a way out of Manning Heights and Balton's was supposed to be his safe haven until then. After his first day at his new school, he has the whole football team hating him with his smart remarks, except for one quarterback who takes an interest in him. With his new therapist, his annoying aunt, and the hell hole he calls school, will Hunter be able to make it through the rest of high school, or will he forever be broken? --- This story contains romance between two boys. If you're not okay with that then I suggest you leave. I'm gonna go ahead and add a trigger warning, for suicidal themes, cutting, etc... Fair warning, this story is really poorly written. It's filled with plot holes, grammar errors, and everything else under the sun that makes a bad story. It pains me to reread it but it's like my own writing history so I don't want to take it down. One Micro Fiction Story each Day [complete]
I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. To Warm Frozen Fingers // A Short Story Collection
I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words.
