Zelda Harpestrix was an orphan who was picked up from the streets and handed the special ability to hunt and kill demons. She is an expert Demon Huntress who has never failed once in her ten years of hunting demons. 

But her mission falls in danger when mysterious scrolls land all over the country threatening that the demons will suck the souls of all the humans by the Big New Moon night. And she has to take that threat seriously when a mysterious stranger enters the town she's currently hiding in. 

Zelda can detect demons with their smell and she's sure this mysterious stranger is one of them. But the more she sees him, she finds him different than the rest of them. 

The stranger, Kaian Corignis has a secret he can't share with anyone. His purpose of visiting the town is simple but when a certain red-headed huntress jumps out of nowhere and is determined to kill him, he is enraged and forced to reveal his true identity to the huntress. 

But it shouldn't be too bad working together, as Kaian and Zelda might be working towards the same goal, after all.
