After eggman and most of the villains retired everything changed. Sonic and the other heroes no longer had the privilege to not pay rent. In the beginning they were doing fine, but people started to feel powerful, like they are above the heroes and made their life miserable, even in work. Everyone got ungrateful and jealous, heroes were no longer a thing. 

Most of the people who had "heroish" abilities ended up on the streets, others were barely holding on. Sonic was on the verge to lose everything, when suddenly he got another chance from life.

Shadow isn't too happy with the situation, and learns to cope as he journeys with the two- encountering other characters and monsters as they search for a way to break their curse. Not long though, Shadow starts to see the weight of the trauma held on Sonic's shoulders as he struggles to contain his werehog form. -Contains multi shipping The story's main focus is the development between Sonic and Shadow's relationship, with a side story ship between Silver and Espio. (One sonilver scene. One shadilver scene) I only write about healthy relationships. -Ages: Shadow(27), Sonic (26), Silver(24), Espio (25).The rest of the characters have been aged up appropriately and all above 18. (WARNINGS for any adult themes or blood will be placed when needed) This story is also going to have Comic panels along with Writings. Please give them time to load.
