However, it does not tell the story of Stevie Nicks shooting daggers with her eyes across the stage to her former lover Lindsey Buckingham it focuses on the second couple sharing the stage with them. This story focuses on Christine and John McVie. As we all know their marriage was very much in debris by 1975 and eventually ended in divorce in 1978. My little fic here is all about 'What if not?' What if they had found a way to pull themselves together and made it work, continuing to stay the couple they never could be? This story also brings forth a character that could be all of us, and you might find a little bit of yourself in her.
This story is obviously based on real life human beings that actually existed and still exist. This story however, although based on true events, is purely fictitious. While I did try my best to stay true to the real life characteristics of the people I'm writing about all the events described here have been conjured up by me and are not in any way real. Some characters in this story are not real either and purely a figment of my imagination.
I hope you enjoy this little fic about a very underrated couple that I feel is deserving of more recognition, as it is my opinion, that the bond they shared was far greater than they ever let us believe.
