Yoru wanted a peaceful life, not a life filled with intrigue and murder. Born in Lumera, he was the only Lunarin to live amongst the elves. They stared, mocked and even persecuted him because of how he looked. It was something he was very much used to, that was until he was invited to watch The King's Games in the big city.
There he meets Firs, a man with a knack for getting into trouble. After being framed for a murder he did not commit, Yoru can do nothing but rely on the very demon who framed him.
When he comes across Samrin Ashen, a highborn elf, a desire born of flame and fire builds up between them. Memories of past lives draw them together and soon Yoru realises that his quest to clear his name is such a small piece of the puzzle.
Will Yoru be able to work out his true past? Will he ever manage to thaw the ice around Samrin's heart? And most importantly, will he ever be able to return home to his family?
