After 2 years of dating Lana finds out she's pregnant she tells Jake on the day of his graduation, but Jake tells her that he isn't ready to be a dad and tried convincing her to abort it or he'd leave her. Lana refuses and they ended up going their separate ways. Her parents were disappointed in both of them but supported Lana during her pregnancy and after the child was born which encouraged her to finish school while pregnant. Lana planned on moving to New York, she saved money for it. When her son turned 5 years old she moved to New York. She applied for a job at Manor's, a luxurious restaurant since it pays well. She was hired and had been working there for years.
Jake got married and has a 3 year old little girl. He owns a multi billionaire company in Brooklyn. He decided to expand his business to New York so his family moves. after 3 months of settling in his friends take him out to the same restaurant Lana works....
