Anna Kelly has been eyeing him since she moved to Liverpool in the summer of 1957. A mutual obsession with rock n' roll and their big dreams bring them together on the top level of the Number 5 bus.
A relationship is forged through the ups and downs of their teenage years. Friends come and go, opportunities arise and fade away. Both struggle to find themselves and follow their own dreams while maintaining their romance amidst the transition from the buttoned-up 50s into the looser 1960s.
