Maddy Lee encountered three apparitions of a 5, 8, and 12 year-old wearing really old black clothes on a mushroom foraging one day in her grandparents' property as a 10 year-old. Ever since then, they've been visiting her in her dreams where the world was pale and cold. Their regular visit and everything that they did to her in her dreams always meant something to hear in the real world. Whenever they bothered her, she'll always be sick or something bad's going to happen. Whenever they're playful with her, good things will happen. Until one day, the messages got all mixed up, unexpected things started to happen to her in the real world as well as the pale and cold dream world.
