A little backstory:
Luke and Chris were childhood friends, they first met when they were in kindergarten. They have always been close friends since. Then middle school came, it was the time when Chris figured out his sexuality and came out as gay to Luke. Luke didn't understand what it meant back then and was fine with it and continued being friends with Chris. Then high school came, and around the sophomore year, they suddenly drifted apart. Luke found new friends and Chris became the president of the debate team. Luke began to skip school with his new friends and get into trouble while Chris became the perfect student and got good grades and was always at the top of the class.
