this takes place right after the chunin exams. Momoshiki does attack Naruto but they defeated Momoshiki. What they don't know is that Momoshiki gave an curse mark to Boruto. kyubi is still alive. Boruto have locked himself in his room and only talks to Himawari. He keeps starving himself till his stomach hurts very badly because of starving. He only comes out when Naruto isn't home.
