Life is like a book and the people living life are the authors. When a new baby is born, they are handed a new blank book and from their first day on Earth, they start to write in this book. Unlike novels and poetry that can be completed in a week, a month, or a year, this story will take you a whole lifetime to write. Your book is only complete after your last day on Earth. Everyone has a story to tell and this is my story: the story of an African-Asian blind musician.

Hello!! My name is Gwen, and I want to share all my crazy life stories, from love to adventure and even a little bit of horror. I have never told anyone any of these, so I think it might be fun to share them with you guys and get to know if you have experienced anything like I have. I really hope you like them and enjoy them. These stories are 100% true (even though it may seem hard to believe at times), so the names have obviously been changed. If your name appears in one of my stories, it's purely coincidental. I hope you like it and can have fun sharing stories. (BTW, this also serves as a diary to help internalize and process many things in my life. It's a safe place where I can express my opinions and thoughts, which I sometimes don't say out loud for different reasons. Also, beware. Imagine a life in utter silence. Imagine having your thoughts trapped in your body, craving for them to be shared. Well, imagine no further. That was my life. I was born deaf and mute, and lived with the effects for the better part of my childhood. I struggled daily while also suffering horrible tragedies at a very young age. From bullying to hate crimes, I experienced them all while still learning about the world. Most people would have quit trying. But with my family unsure of their future, it was up to me to push forward and give them hope.Complete
