The Aether Space

It was out of thin air the first one appeared; paper thin but impossible to see through. The dark black of the portal's face moved like a million tiny snakes atop each other, the last thing she saw before it dissolved , gone almost as soon as it appeared. That was the first heartbreak that gripped her body with such fury, that made her promise to herself that she would never make herself go through that again. A feat that proved impossible for her on her own, which led her here, on the steps of UA.
