Welcome! First off, let me explain the way this story works real quick:

The characteristics of the assistant featured in this story will remain vague and up to the reader with little no no details on their appearance. This allows the ready to insert how they wish the Female protagonist to appear! This is not written in the normal "Y/N" (Your Name), "H/C" (Hair color), etc fashion as generally all other X Reader stories play out. Giving it more life and involvement.

Story Line Info: This is weirdly going to be based off an RP that was done between Medic and an Reader/OC. The story line follows with the RED vs BLU story line of tf2 before the events of MvM. I will be attempting to keep characters as close to canon as I can while still bending their characteristics and other small details on how they act to drive the story better. The "Cannon" version of these characters following more closely to the webcomics released by Valve.

Today. Tomorrow. Days from now to weeks ahead. The war between RED and BLU wages everlasting. A new recruit. A new chance. Fate throws wrenches in even the most secure of lives. When the war of the front lines is at rest, we get to see how the new face around RED Team adjusts to the merc line of work. Training under Medic, our newest recruit is challenged with something she never could have seen coming. They say an old soul never changes. How true is this really, when emotions get in the way...

I tried my best to do research and make the story fit as best as I could. Also I am not the best writer, so I'm sorry if I made a mistake in spelling or punctuation. I tried to organize the text, too. I made sure you can read the dialogue without having to "search" for it in a conundrum of words. That's always annoying.
