Jasper's purpose has been lost. He lost it all after he thought things would get better.

He thought his family would love him again; however, since there's not enough cash going through, his mother becomes outraged. She blames him for his father's disappearance only to make herself feel better about herself.

Jasper is forced to look for a new place to live. The only available house is an hour away from his home town. No body cares that he left. Not even his mother or older sister.

He feels scared and alone. So he called up some of his friends and asked them if they would like to be his roommates, even if it's only temporary.

Mental health is a struggle. The memories of his mother's hatred towards him are occasionally unbearable. The weight of his problems continue to destroy him. Until, he no longer feels the need to heal as he continues to fall apart. Craving for someone, anyone to hold him and tell him that he's safe and that he's loved.

Roommates are always a problem. No matter if they're friendly or not. There's always something up with them. Whether it's Camila, Dresden, Elis, Edmund, Dahlia, or Aaron.

What happens if there's cameras only one of them is aware about? When things aren't so private anymore because someone always knows what's up? Stirring up problems for her own entertainment.

New school. New home. New Life. New bullies. Daniel didn't ask for any of it. Yet here he is. Life still sucks. And he's had just about enough of it. However, the biggest challenge is yet to come. Afterall, has his shadow been moving on its own? Or is it just his imagination. Follow the story of 14-year-old Daniel as he learns how to get through life. How to grow up. And how to love in multiple ways. Opening his heart and mind to the world and people around him. Rated mature for: Swearing Mature concepts Violence This book is dedicated to everyone who inspired me, encouraged me and stuck by me while I debated giving up on the concept for this book altogether. You all know who you are... I wanted to tell a story that breaks the norm to some aspect. Where the main character is a boy, not a girl. Where he is not perfect. And where he is even a - not bad - but does bad things sometimes. It's a story of coming into yourself and forging your own path. Despite how hard that path can be to walk. Choices you face, how you'll react to them. What to do when you've done something bad and how you can fix it. If you should fix it. Each choice you make - weather you realize it or not - forges the person you are. For every door you close another one is waiting to be opened. This is not a perfect story, but it's one I want to tell. One that comes from a personal place in my heart and one that is born in reality and bathed in fantasy. This story will deal with aspects of both worlds. And sometimes touch on heavier topics. Be prepared, to read about a character who is the farthest thing from perfect. But he doesn't need to be. He just needs to be himself. Oh, how hard that truly is.

Mostly fluff, little angst and lots of sweet romantic moments as well as friendship moments. ----------
