Five years ago, Link awoke without any of his memories yet was still burdened with the task of saving Hyrule from a threat he failed to defeat 100 years before. Confused, guilt-ridden, and sorrowful, he would've never been able to take up the blade if it weren't for you.
You waited a century just for him and fought loyally by his side despite how long it took him to connect you to his past, so it shouldn't be any surprise that he fell in love with you twice. He'll do anything for you. If that means exploring this whole new kingdom in search of you, then so be it.
