"Crawl inside this body- find me where I'm most ruined, love me there."
-Rune Lazuli
"Hey, no more whisky for you", the young woman warned, looking down at the whisky glasses, "I don't want you to die here, who knows what the police would think." The addressed man tried to contradict but his voice cracked and he couldn't bring a decent word over his lips. He wasn't sure whether he had drunk two or ten glasses of alcohol, whether it was 10 pm or 2 am, whether he was still alive or not. But he was sure that it wasn't enough by far. The alcohol didn't seem to help anymore, all his problems came crashing down, drowning him in self hate and depression.
"Hey, Davey!?"
The man slightly moved his head towards the voice.
"I'll take you home"
He couldn't comprehend the following words, and he also couldn't quite remember what happened after that. The next thing he knew was him laying in his bed, body aching and throat sore. It must be early afternoon, through the ringing in his ears he could hear the muffled laughter of kids playing soccer, baseball or whatever they were up to these days.
Groaning, he tried to move, hissing as the pain got worse. But he didn't give up and somehow managed to get into the kitchen where he grabbed some ibuprofen pills and swallowed them. Dry.
Hello there, Author one here ;) I write this book with someone else. So don't be surprised if the style suddenly switches lol. This book will contain scenes involving trauma, such as a abusive household, homophobia, and other sensitive topics that I will add later. Please read with caution. (I'm not sure how bad it's gonna be though lmao.) Also, we're both not fluent in english but we're trying out best.
Jason Williams didn't think going out to dinner with his family was going to be any different than usual. Comments about his sexuality, some teasing from his brothers, and lots of paparazzi. You know, nothing strange at all.
But a fight with his father made Jason storm out of the restaurant, down an alleyway, and suddenly his life isn't the usual anymore. He woke up in an unfamiliar dark room, and a handsome boy opened his door to explain.
The snowy-haired genius was holding him captive until he got what he wanted.
Life couldn't be worse.
Warning: This book contains mental issues such as depression, schizophrenia, and others. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, then you should probably think twice before reading this.
Of course, if you want to read it and you're sensitive, I'm not stopping you. This book only touches upon the subjects; It doesn't go deep into suicide attempts and voices.
Remember despite the hate these mental illnesses receive, I believe you. Mental illnesses are no joke, they're not something I try to use for views. I am not hating on the illnesses. I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them.
If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor. Or, if you're too scared for that, I'll happily listen and give you advice.
Thank you!
(I needed to include this because I didn't want people thinking I thought the mental illnesses were stupid. I don't, I promise. I love you, and I need you to keep fighting!)
