Fen is a teen doing okay until their best friend doesn't meet them at the school gate one day. A few hours later, she is declared a missing person. Dozens of people vanish in a wave of grief and paranoia; nobody knows who's being taken next and families are terrified. Heartbroken, Fen decides to start searching for her and the other missing people, following each tiny clue. They soon become entangled in a deadly web of secrets, lies and spilled blood. Will they get free in time, or die trying?

And she finds real friendship and even love. Is it possible to love in the apocalypse? She'll just have to find out. She learns of what the government did and that they are looking for her, and she runs, trying to keep her and her friends alive. But there's only so much one girl can do. Will she find somewhere safe to hide from the government? Or will the government finally catch her? Will she fall to the world of the undead? Will her love survive the apocalypse? Having schizophrenia was a pain sometimes, but it didn't mean Nico was crazy, even if the voices told him he was. The real ones, and the ones in his mind. The only person he could ever consider a friend would be his psychologist (aka his therapist), Jenny, who he had grown a strong connection with over the 4 years he had been going to see her. He didn't trust anyone else. Nico knew that no one would look past it all like she does. That is, until Will Solace enters the picture, the happy go lucky college student striving to be a therapist. What could go wrong? . This is a solangelo fan fiction and will have swearing, mental illnesses and there may be triggering moments that will have warnings.
