Scar was one of the most happy and bubbly people in Hermitcraft. He could cheer anyone up with the gentle sound of his laughter. His voice was soft and sweet, yet mischievious at the same time. He cared about everything, especially the animals. He was made out of pure goodness. But alas, nothing good lasts forever.

Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake. Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense. A YHS/Hermitcraft fanfic. Angsty. There's some mild Grumbo shipping but it could just be seen as platonic. Also Scar/Cub shipping, but only really at the very end and you can ignore it if you want. Trigger warnings: death loops, permadeath, Sam being Sam, manipulation, self hatred, torture, general angsty stuff. There's a happy ending though! Also, this is a continuation of my imaginative book covers and chapter titles! Word count: approx 14,700 words
