A group of streamers from the DSMP get a message to coordinates of a haunted forest in California. The streamers arrive at the area in hopes of catching some ghosts. Instead one of their friends, Juniperloonie -better known was Juni among the group- goes missing after being separated from the group. One of the streamers leads the group to investigate but instead finds tapes of a family being haunted by a tall strange sock man in a suit. 

And now that man is hunting them.

Can they escape the forest before anyone else gets hurt?

Tommy had just recently moved homes. The one he left was one full of memories. Not good ones, but not necessarily bad ones, either. He didn't have much to live for at his old home, so he moved in hope of starting over and meeting new people. He had no more family, and his school friends had long moved on from him. In fact, the only number in his contacts was his mum's who was long passed away. Tommy was young (sixteen, to be exact) and he often forgot things. Usually just as simple as forgetting to do the laundry, or forgetting to reply to a notification on his phone that he received three seconds prior. Simple things that didn't matter. This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. She was found unconscious in the woods by the police. Luke says she has horrible nightmares about a man without a face. Adam and Vanessa quickly go to the hospital to be by her side. Three days later, Emily is allowed to return home. But she's not the same again. She has still nightmares and she see things that nobody else see. Adam and Luke are very worried about her. When Emily is accused of stabbing her classmate, they know they have to help her.

In hopes of catching the elusive killer they ask their top agent Dream to assist on the case. This is a Dreamnotfound fanfic don't like it don't read it *I have no idea how crime investigations really work, most of my knowledge is gleaned off movies.
