Oscar Levante is a writer living in Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1941. Or, at least, that's what he wants to be. Right now, he works under a pseudonym for a pulp novel company churning out novels as fast as they can pay him, all the while working on his magnum opus - a true noir detective story. One night while out with his friends, he meets a real PI named Theodore Durand, who tells Oscar that he doesn't know the first thing about what a real PI does. It ramps up as you keep reading with more action and drama until it is too much to bear. Can you spot the twists before they come? I don't plan on writing anything overly graphic, but some light smut and a lot of violence will be a part of it. Rated as mature. Plan to update as frequently as I can. Hopefully weekly.

But it was important to keep the two species separate, as angel blood was the cure to any vampire becoming human again, keeping in mind that once bitten by a vampire, for an angel it was sudden death. However in this day and age, vampires walked freely amongst the city. After all, they needed humans to feed and in order to do that, they had to blend in. The war between vampires and angels had to be kept secret from human kind, and the species had to stay apart. But for one vampire and one angel, it was hard to stay apart, because sometimes you can't help falling in love. COMPLETED.
