OPEN NOVELLA CONTEST 2023 ENTRY
I was staring out of the hospital window. The painkillers didn't work anymore, and I could tell my time was almost off. The coin in my hand got wet from the sweat because I was a nervous wreck.
What should I do? What choice should I make? The one that will hurt everyone, including me, but it's probably destiny or the one that will solve this life/death situation for good. Should I just let it all disappear? My life wasn't easy, but it was mine, and I didn't want any other one.
But... do I want to die? Do I want to hurt the people who love me the most? Do I want to break my first love's heart? Of course, I don't. But I also don't want to be the one who decides this. It's too hard, and I don't have time. This might be the hardest thing that anyone had ever done.
So... what is it going to be? Die like me? Or live like somebody else?

One Micro Fiction Story each Day [complete]
I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. (by the way, it's not complete but I marked it like that because the chapters don't compliment one-another, so each story is basically done by the time I publish it) -Lilly RoseComplete

"W-What do you want?" I stammered, my eyes not leaving his gaze on me. "I want to prove you wrong." he smirks dangerously and speaks with his husky, deep voice. He took another step towards me and I took another step back making me collide with the wall. He hovers over me, his chest mere inches away from mine. He kept his mouth near my ear and his hand came on my bare legs. He slowly trailed his big, rough hands, making his way under my skirt. My breath hitched and he stopped mere inches from my core. No matter how hard I try to deny his touch, my body responds exactly the way he wants. My spine arched and my eyes snapped close. This book is about a love that developed between two hearts when they never planned for it. With a pinch of reality and fiction it's a love story between a 20 year old boy and 22 year old girl. He was reserved with his words while she was expressive. He was a mature person while she was a little kid to him. She was ready to fight the world but he was confused.
